St. John Bosco Student's to Exhibit at Art Show
Biographical Information for Student Entry Kathy Huipio Kathy is a senior at Washington High School in Chicago. Kathy has great concern to preserve the environment. Kathy made this artwork because she wants to encourage people to recycle, consequently; she made an artwork using an old school chair which she collaged using recycled materials. The chair is an expression of a way to take garbage and make something functional out of it and at the same time cool! Kathy s future plans include attending Columbia College in Chicago. Kathy plans to study film and photography. Kathy has loved art since she was a freshman at Washington and plans to pursue a career in the arts, considering the connection between arts and the environment among future goals. AWLI is headquartered at the Environmental Education Center, 2405 Calumet Avenue, in Hammond, IN ~~~ Some 130 scientists gathered at the Wolf
Lake watershed on August 23-24, 2002 and discovered more than 2250
